"We had an amazing stay at La Iguana in Vieques and truly enjoyed every part of our visit. From the moment we arrived, the place felt welcoming, relaxing, and perfect for enjoying the island. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to feel settled in right away.

What we loved most about La Iguana was how peaceful and enjoyable it was after long days out exploring Vieques. It was the perfect place to come back to, unwind, and enjoy the beauty and laid-back vibe of the island. The location was also great and made it easy to get around and enjoy everything Vieques has to offer.

The host was kind, responsive, and made the entire stay easy and stress-free, which we really appreciated. You can tell a lot of care goes into making guests feel comfortable.

Overall, we had a really great experience at La Iguana and would absolutely stay here again. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing, and memorable place to stay in Vieques."

Reminded me of an old school home in India. The place was spotless, had all the necessities & my parents LOVED it so much so that they asked to stay an extra day and we’re lucky enough to comply bc there was one day available. The place was completely booked out otherwise. Our hosts were super responsive with recommendations and any questions we had. Loved everything about this listing!"

"We stayed for two nights. the bedrooms were nice as was the bathroom. The kitchen, while not a full kitchen, had pretty much everything except an oven (toaster, microwave and two-top burner). It worked perfectly for us.
The bathroom was beautiful and the shower was cool. The beds were very comfortable too.
There is island noise...roosters and frogs. You can tell the hosts took several steps to help alleviate the noise (ear plugs, window covers and sleep/noise machines). We used one of the provided noise machines in the bedrooms the 2nd night and it really helped.
We liked being able to walk to town in minutes, close to bakeries, grocery and dining.
I would for sure stay here again."

"We came to PR for spring break and booked this home on a whim when we decided to stay the night in Vieques - and we couldn't have been happier! Communication was a piece of cake - which we appreciated so much since we were new to the island. We walked from the ferry - as noted a good portion of this is uphill, which was fine for us but should be considered if bringing a lot of luggage. Our family of 5 fit comfortably for the night and especially enjoyed the screened-in deck during the evening. It was updated, well-equipped and beautifully decorated. The home is walkable to dining and shopping - the owners recommended Bar Central for dinner and it was a homerun! Also noted in the listing - there was a lot of vocal wildlife at night...took some getting used to but wouldn't prevent us from staying again. Overall had a great stay and look forward to returning!"

It was fun going out on the porch and trying to spot how many you could see in the trees. We also loved hearing the roosters . Since it was vacation, we did not need the kitchen. Bar Central was a great recommendation for dinner."
